

Glen Weldon, 72, of Victoria passed away on Friday. He was born on July 26, 1940 in Bay City, Texas to the late Eugene V. and Ruby Jewel Morphew Weldon. Glen was retired from DuPont after 41 years as an operator and a lab repairman; he has also been a massage therapist for 8 years working at home and Citizen’s Health Plex. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and Crescent Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Charlene Wilhite Weldon; daughter, Kim Shipman Trebesch of Victoria; sons, Glen Allen (Jo) Weldon, Michael Wayne (Kim) Weldon and Robert Charles Weldon all of Pennsylvania; sisters, Lois Yawn, LaVerne Lowery both of Arkansas, Elaine Cole of Mississippi, Mary Greenfield of Washington; brothers, Calvin Weldon of Seabrook, TX, David Weldon of Victoria; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Weldon, Laci Renae (Josh) Stadheim, Jennifer Nicole Weldon, Dakota Rain Weldon and Tanner Allen Weldon and one great granddaughter, Abigail Renae Stadheim.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Weldon is preceded in death by a sister, Louise Bitner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Services will be conducted at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Williams and Rev. Mike Monroe officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers are David Weldon, Calvin Weldon, Mike Weldon, Michael Anthony Weldon, Audley Dry, Hollis Millard and Jay McIivain, Jim Wilhite, Don Bryan and Al Helweg.
