

Glenn Robert “Bob” Shults, 83, of Victoria passed away Sunday, February 8, 2014. He was born July 13, 1931, in Mission, Texas, to the late Floyd and Elizabeth Nicol Shults. Mr. Shults was a retired engineer. He was a graduate of Texas A&I University and was a United States Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a faithful member of John Wesley United Methodist Church, John Wesley Men’s Breakfast Club and past member of the Port Lavaca Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Shults of Victoria; step-daughter, Dana Knowlton and husband, Virgil of Ganado; sons, Scott Shults and wife, Sarah of Houston, Gary Shults and wife, Susan of San Antonio and Dean Shults and wife, Tammi Jo of Boerne; sister, Velma Lee Mumme of Boerne; grandchildren, Greg Knowlton, Natalie Shults, Cameron Shults, Megan Knowlton, Marissa Shults, Sydney Shults, Alexander Shults and Marshall Shults; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Seale and step-son, Bill Grimes.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 12, 2015, at John Wesley United Methodist Church from 9 am to 10 am with services to follow at 10 am with the Rev. Charles Stephens and Rev. Carl Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow at 1 pm at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary, Scott, Cameron, Dean and Marshall Shults and Greg Knowlton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommie Alexander, Bob Ozment, Mike Smith, Johnny Sciaca and Gerald Anglin.
