Gloria Enedina Lee, 96, of Victoria, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, in Cuero. She was born in Tivoli, Texas to Pedro and Mary Pina Lee on October 19, 1929. Gloria moved to Corpus Christi in 1956 and went to work at Lichtenstein’s Department Store in their credit department until 1974 when the store was sold to Frost. After Lichtenstein’s she worked at the Corpus Christi Housing Authority until 1980 when she moved to Houston, Texas. While in Houston, she worked for KPRC – NBC tv until 1996, where she used to slot commercials.
In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her brothers, Adolph Lee, Willie Lee, and Pedro “Pete” Lee, Jr.
Gloria is survived by her son, Joe De La Rosa and his wife Belinda Barrera De La Rosa, daughter, Elvia Rodriguez and her husband Ruben Rodriguez, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 9 am, followed by reciting of the Rosary at 9:30 am, and Mass at 10 am, all at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations may be made to the Tivoli Cemetery, Tivoli, Texas.
