

Golda and her first husband Jerome J Peters were farmers, owners of a feed, seed and fertilizer business which is still in operation and community leaders in Jackson County. Golda also found time to substitute teach in Ganado and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her daughter, Faye Peters (husband Craig) McDougald of Kingsland; son, Ronald J. (wife Gena) Peters of Ganado; sisters, Lenore Uptain, of Phoenix, AZ and Maxine Jones, of Meza, AZ, Brother C Dean Richins of Animas, NM; daughter-in-law, Lola Peters;
grandchildren, David J. Peters, Tanya (husband Joey) Rosalez, Clinton (wife Karen) Matcek, Chris J. (wife Traci) Peters, Brian J. (wife Kayla) Peters, Laina (husband Nick) Moomaw, Natalie Petrs, Westin Cross, Allison Petrs, Aaron J. Peters, Brandy (husband Stewart) Finnesse, Brodie McDougald;
and great grandchildren, Michaella Matcek, Emily Moomaw,Madison Rosalez, Meghan Matcek, Jaden Roselez, Brady J. Peters, Gavin J. Peters, Tori Peters, Tatum Peters, Reese Moomaw, Seeley J. Peters, Addie Moomaw, Ethan Finnesse and Benjamin Finnesse.
Preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Jerome J Peters and Raymond Hill; son, Michael J. Peters; sisters, Faye Richins, Lavona Knight, Beverly Porter; brothers, O J Richins, Clyde L Richins, Darrow E Richins, and DeVaun D Richins.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 10 am, Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Duane Bushman officiating.
Burial will follow at 2 pm at the Ganado Cemetery.
