Most of Grace’s career was spent working for DeTar Hospital in the records department. But she often said her favorite job was working at Gymagic. Even though Grace never had any children, she loved working with them and the future gymnasts. Her final job was at Dollar General where she hardly brought home a paycheck. She was always helping people who need a few more dollars to pay for those diapers or food for their children.
Grace is survived by her nephew Dale (Janet) Stubbs, three great-nieces, Wendy (Scott) Greathouse, Nicole (Josh) Moore, Heather Stubbs, three great-nephews, Darin (Katie) Stubbs, Kristopher and Joshua (fiancé Lyndsy) Stubbs and eight great-great nephews and great-great nieces, Gavin, Gage, Lucy, Jennah, Harlow, Etta, Easton and Ryleigh. Her beloved extended family, Carol Stubbs, Sophie Rainville, Lillian Reid, and Marguerite Debolt, who were not only family but dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother (Herman and Lily Angerstein), her sister (Doris Stubbs) and nephew (Keith Stubbs). Last but not least, her beloved pet, Sophie, who had been her constant companion for over twelve years and was laid to rest only two weeks before.
We would like to Thank all her caregivers, Dr. Delgado who was not only her doctor but her friend and to Itzel with Harbor Hospice who was a blessing in her last days.
