Grace Harris Gilley

Grace (“Wiggie”) Harris Gilley of Victoria died on Monday, May 4, 2015. She was born on January 5, 1928 to the late Grace Margaret and William Harris of Victoria. Her love for God and her special devotion to the Virgin Mary was an important part of her life. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Howland Gilley, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Gilley Tibiletti, John Howland Gilley III and his wife, Judith Reilly Gilley, Diane Gilley Davitt and her husband, William Davitt, Peggy Gilley Warren and her husband, Kenneth Warren, Gretchen Gilley Boyle and her husband, Michael Boyle; grandchildren, Matthew Aaron Tibiletti and his wife, Mary Kate Khoury Tibiletti, John Howland Gilley IV, James Henry (Hank) Gilley, Kevin Gerard Davitt and his wife, Leah Blake Davitt, Katherine Grace Davitt, and Benjamin Joseph Boyle; great grandchildren, Jaxson Blake Davitt and Carli Rose Davitt.

A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Gilley, Hank Gilley, Michael Boyle, Benjamin Boyle and Kenneth Warren.
