Dear Bill and family, we are so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife, mother and aunt! She was so very loved by all she touched! We will miss her greatly! God has added a beautiful Angel to his flock!

Helen our mother was a loving, caring and generous person. She lived for her family and she was the happiest when we were all together. Our parents met when she was baby sitting my Dad's cousins, it was love at first site.  My parents have been married 54 years, their anniversary is on September 29 and this would have been their 55th. We have many good memories with our Mom.  Dad and Mom made sure we had family vacations every year growing up; it usually involved visiting our relatives or camping. These were the times that we cherish most. 
One of our best memories of Mom is when we took a camping trip and we were fishing out our boat. Mom was really frustrated and called out to our dad to tell him she was hung up on a log, it ended up being a 6 1/2 pound bass we were so excited for her. Dad had the fish mounted and we still have that fish to this day. 
We had another funny fishing experience involving Mom it was when our parents went out with our Aunt and Uncle to go night fishing and our mother brought her thermos of hot water and tea bags to make hot tea. The ladies were fishing off one side of the boat and all of a sudden they thought they had a fish, well guess what?  It ended up being the tea bags they threw over board. They came back to camp later that night still laughing over their tea bag catch.  
My brother Daniel was the one to get  him self in predicaments one time during the morning of getting ready for school my brother decides to crawl down in a paper barrel and hide. That barrel had a metal ring around the top and his shoulders were wedged to tight to get him out, Mom had to cut him out with a hacksaw and we were late for school. We as children all tried her patience our older brother, Brian was the trickster of the family, he hung a rubber snake over the door so when Mom would open it the snake would drop down on her. Mom didn't think it was very funny and boyyy did he get in trouble. 
Our Mom was the heart and soul of our family she was our comfort and the one who kept us all in line. We were blessed to have had her in our lives. We are also blessed with the life time of memories. She will forever be in our hearts and be the remembrance of  why family is such a important part of life.

Thank you lord for the patience that you gave to her.

Thank you lord for the love and Kindness you gave to her.

Thank you lord for the last minutes we had.

Thank you lord for helping us get through this hard time.

Thank you lord for all that you do for us.

Thank you lord for giving us strength, but 
Thank you lord for my mom.

My mom took care of us when we were little and when we were sick.

My mom loved us when we were bad and when we were sad.

My mom kept us strong and happy when she was sick or tired and she was a great mom.

So that's my mom.

Words can't say how much this woman meant to our family. She was the sweetest most unselfish person, and God was she strong even in her last days. She was a wonderful grandmother to all of us and a loving mother, wife and great grandmother. I will always strive to be like her and will never forget the memories. I have no doubt that she is watching and smiling down upon us. Love you Nana!
