Jack Ervin Dennis

Jack Ervin Dennis 82 of Victoria passed away February 20, 2015. He was born in Brune, Texas December 12, 1932 to the late Sylvester Alonzo and Gladys Faye Baker Dennis. Mr. Dennis worked in the oilfield and was self-employed as a commercial fisherman and was very active at the Senior Citizens Center in Victoria playing cards, dominoes, and loved spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Margaret Marthiljohni Dennis of Victoria; daughters Vicki Stubbs and husband Mike of Austin, Glenda Gibbs and husband John of Victoria, and Pam Menke and husband Garry of Bastrop; sons Ervin Dennis and wife Nona of Victoria and Clint Dennis and wife Marla of Georgetown; sister Verna Mae Crisp of Port Lavaca.

The family will receive friends Tuesday February 24, 2015 from noon to 2 PM with services to follow at 2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Dr. Kim Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Bennett, Scott Bennett, Ethan Cohn, Mike Stubbs, Garry Menke and John Gibbs.
