So sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. Although we never met and only talked on the phone occasionally, I could tell he was a very kind man.  He helped me with many reports and was always very nice and patient with me. He could accomplish just about anything on a report that I asked.  I will miss talking with him. He was one of the good ones!

Jim was one of our first professional hires at HMS.  He made a significant contribution to the company.  Everyone appreciated Jim - coworkers and clients.  He was always helpful and had a can-do attitude - very beneficial in those early days.  The clients loved him and often asked for his help.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jim was the best of HMS.  I was a client of his in Oklahoma City and then later a coworker in Nashville.  He was knowledgeable, professional, and always had a great demeanor and sense of humor.  As a fellow Texan we had many conversations about the Houston Texans, Houston Oilers, Victoria, Corpus Christi and the Texas Gulf Coast.  You touched many people and will be missed Jim!

I was lucky enough to work with Jim at HMS in the late 90s and early 00s. Jim was a consummate gentleman and a wonderful teacher. My heart goes out to his family as I know how much he will be missed. Godspeed Jim, until we meet again. - Michael McLaughlin

Jim was one of my first supervisors at HMS and I'll never forget how kind he was. We worked together for 2 decades and he never changed - extremely intelligent, kind, and a great teacher. 
He will truly be missed by so many people.

Jim was a tremendous help to me and everyone in sales who needed his expertise and perspective. Always had smile, joke, or dig that kept me on my toes. He was a foundational block to HMS. Clients loved Jim. He will be missed by all.


Many people do not know this, but when Uncle Jimmy first got married me and my brother would stay with him for a few days in the summer.  My mom would even call us his practice kids, until Jennifer came along.  He is the one who even taught us to swim, because you know that our dad bless his heart even though he went into the Navy never learned to swim himself.  Do not tell her sister, my Aunt Linda, but we were her practice kids also.  He has and will be part of my memories.  My prayers go out for his family, peace be with you all.  

Sorry just realized that I have called him Uncle Jimmy all my life, where his name is Jim.

I did not know Jim very well , but everyone knew how much Linda loved him and her family. My prayers are with Linda, boys, and daughter. May you find peace, love, and 
comfort in one another.


To my Uncle Jim…I will miss running into you at H‑E‑B and catching up. I’ll miss the trash talk about football. I’m sorry you never got your invitation but when that time comes, I’ll be sure to save you a seat. Thank you for always taking care of my mom. Rest easy, Uncle Jim, I love and will miss you💙

So glad to have known Jim and his family for so many years.  May God be with you all during this time.  My condolences the family.  I will cherish all the great memories of our bowling days together.  Rest peacefully Uncle Jim!
