Jean L. Bayer, 86, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was born May 6, 1923, in Clarinda, Iowa, to the late Melvin H. and Dorothy McCord Dunham. She was a retired pharmacy clerk.
Survivors include her sons, Larry G. Decker, of Miami, Florida, and Melvin Decker, of Steele, Alabama; sisters: Jeri Alkek, of Victoria, Texas, and Harriet Glasenitt, of Wylie, Texas; brother, David Dunham, of Bloomington, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Fraquelli.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Friday, February 26, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, Rev. Charles Placker, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
