Jesus “Jesse” R. Garza Jr., 79, passed away May 19, 2019. Jesus was born March 9, 1940 in Victoria to the late Jesus R. Garza Sr. and Eloisa Rendon Garza. Jesus enjoyed watching college football, especially Notre Dame and loved to visit Las Vegas and Coushatta and try his hand at gambling. He was also a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Jesus is survived by his sister, Emma G. Castillo (Federico Sr.) of Victoria; his brother, Samuel Garza Sr. of Tucson, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Ismael Garza Sr. and Ernest Garza.

Visitation will be Monday, May 27, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM.
