JoAnn Burnett Anderson

Jo Ann Burnett Anderson, 82, of Victoria, passed away October 20, 2013. Ann was born May 7, 1931 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to the late Duke and Winnifred Cates Burnett. Ann was an avid reader, she loved to crochet and loved her family dearly. Ann was also a member of First Baptist Church in Victoria.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Veanne Green of Victoria, TX and Janet Elaine Johnson (Robert) of Cologne, TX; son, John “Joey” Anderson (Patty) of Sandia, TX; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John “Chile” Anderson and brother, Versal Duke Burnett.

A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013, from 6-8 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels.

A funeral service will be held, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Pastor Jim Shamburger officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jay Westerman, Jarrod Westerman, Robert Johnson, Joey Anderson, James Richardson and Paul Anderson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Child Fund International, 2821 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294.

The family would like for friends and family to gather at Vera Cruz Restaurant after the service for a reception.
