

Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II in the Pacific Theater. He was the founder/owner of McAdams Floral Shop for many years. He was a member of VFW Post 4146, Knights of Columbus Council 1329 and parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Adel M. Migl McAdams, of Victoria; daughter, Cynthia Ann Atchison and husband Clay; son, Dennis Patrick McAdams and wife Mary Ann, all of Victoria; grandchildren, Jared and wife Samantha, Heath and Luke Atchison; and great grandchild, Madelyn Atchison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Angie Marie Senkel; and brothers, Weldon, Oran, Jimmy, Abe, Roger and Clifford McAdams.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home followed by a rosary to be recited at 7 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral with Rev. Gary Janak officiating.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery with a Flag Presentation under the auspices of the Victoria County Veterans Council.
Pallbearers will be David Migl, Bobby McAdams, David Janssen and grandsons, Jared, Heath and Luke Atchison.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic School, Our Lady of Victory Cathedral or Hospice of South Texas.
