John David Anderson Jr.

John David Anderson, Jr. of Inez, entered into eternal life on January 19, 2017. He was born to John David Anderson, Sr. of Victoria and Evonne Swint Anderson of Yorktown, on March 30, 1958 in Victoria.

He was a graduate of Victoria High School and worked in the oilfield. For a number of years he owned and operated a landscape company in Humble, Texas.

“Johnny” moved to Inez where he enjoyed country living with his beloved dog “Diablo”. He attended St. Joseph’s Church and loved daily mass when he was able to attend, often sharing his caring and kind spirituality with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel and Elmo Hartman of Goliad and grandparents, Charles and Aletha Anderson of Victoria. He is survived by his parents, John Anderson (Betty) and Evonne Anderson; sisters, Monica (Dale) Sowell of Round Rock, Micki Morton of Cuero and Melinda (Clay) Massey of Victoria as well as 8 nieces and nephews and 8 great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clay, Clayton, Clinton, John and Jake Massey.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Church Inez CCD program.
