Jack and I shared a lot of good times as childhood friends.  Our bicycle trips to John Harris's mink farm, the vine swing on Gypsy Camp Hill.  Also remember us catching hell for loading up our wagon with black walnuts and trying to sell them along Valley St.  A great friend who I wished I had kept more in touch with.

So sorry for your loss.  Jack was a special childhood friend.  Lived next door to one another for many years and graduated from McDonald High School together.  Remember playing cowboy and indians (once too real got stabbed in knee). riding our bikes everywhere, catching hell for pulling the wagon down Valley St. and selling green apples(don't think we made much).  Swinging on that damn vine on Gypsy Camp Hill where Rich jumped on with Jack and me and the damn thing broke and we ended up at Doc. Hugheys.  Many other fond memories of a friend who will be dearly missed. 

I pretty much lived with Matt and John at Jack's beach house in Magnolia Beach. How can I possibly narrow it down to one memory.  I do remember the times Matt and John would get Jack to come pick me up in Port Lavaca cruising his gray Cadillac or the Black "Party Van!" Jack would always have his door open to me until he'd get tired of me and finally say "Ok you gotta go home Sam!" Then two weeks later they'd all drive back to pick me up again! I guess I was tolerable in small doses. (Lol) Which ever the case, Jack always treated me as one of his own. I have always respected him for The Love he showed me day in and day out! You will be truly missed Mr Jack Hallam. May you rest in peace and rejoice with your Loved ones in Heaven.
