John dedicated his life to his country as military man, serving his career in the Navy on the U.S.S. Hancock aircraft carrier.
He is loved and remembered by his brother-in-law, Marvin Huse; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Lucille Huse and Mary Tinoco.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 9:00 am, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 am. Father Patrick Knippenberg will officiate.
Burial is to follow in Resurrection Cemetery with full Military Honors presented by the Victoria Veterans Council.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Boyd, Eddie Longoria, Mike Bednorz, Jerry Guajardo, John Bednarczyk and Anthony Hermes.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes.
