

Judith Marie Gann, 75, beloved wife , mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at her home in Inez, Texas. She was born October 17, 1936, to the late LeRoy and Lillian Brunner Hatterman in Los Angeles, Texas. In childhood they moved to Victoria where she attended public schools. Following graduation from Victoria High, she attended Victoria College where she was named college sweetheart, and later graduated from the University Of Texas with a degree in Elementary Education. She received a Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Houston at Victoria while teaching in the Victoria Public School System until her retirement.
Judy was a well known artist with many of her wildlife paintings now in Victoria homes.
Judy’s passion was antiques, and she was a dealer for over twenty-five years continuing until her death.
She is survived by her husband, David Gann, two children, Melissa Miller and Jennifer Rivera; stepchildren, Darron Gann, Darrell Gann and Cheryll Grafton; grandchildren, Scarlett Rivera, Christine Vickers, Katie Vickers, Wayne Gann, Walker Gann, Megan Grafton, Tyler Grafton, Jocquelin Marlin, Tracy Yanak and Amber Smith; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm Friday, February 10, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, February 11, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Inez. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Darron Gann, Darrell Gann, Tim Grafton, Christine Vickers, Katie Vickers and Scarlett Rivera.
