Judy C. Anderson, 68, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 after a short illness. She was born February 6, 1949 in Cuero to the late Floyd Elmer and Doris Lorita Spears Schroat. Judy was a loving sister who stepped into the nurturing mother role when their own mother passed away at an early age. She worked as a dispatcher for Acme Trucking and also spent time training horses for many years in Oklahoma. Judy loved Thanksgiving and all the preparation for the season.
Survivors include her sisters, Ann Danise Staggs of Victoria and Kelly R. Shiller (Otis) of Bloomington; brothers, Timothy S. Schroat and Karl D. Schroat (Cheryl), both of Corpus Christi, and Kevin W. Schroat (Rita) of Victoria; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Reginald Schroat.
A service celebrating Judy’s life will be held at a later date.
