Judy Paulette Duncan, 76, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2022. She was born to the late William Douglas Hines and Mary Louise Seal-Hines on August 7, 1946 in Poplarville, Mississippi. She graduated from Poplarville High School in Poplarville, Mississippi in 1964. She served in the United States Army from 1964-1966, where she was stationed at various areas in the US and multiple countries, including Germany and Japan. She received her cosmetology license and for many years she provided services in her own salon. She went on to study nursing at Pearl River Community College in 1986 and became a Registered Nurse. As a nurse, she practiced in the field of labor and delivery for many years. She later became the Director of Nursing for Home Healthcare, until her retirement in 2008. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and camping. She also enjoyed reading, drawing, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
Judy is survived by her son, William Darren Ealy (Loni); daughter, Shasta Rene Duncan-Salinas (Luis); sisters, Eva Dale Allen and Brenda Ehret; granddaughters, Mikaela Ealy-Kukkonen and Jade Ealy; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Douglas Hines; mother, Mary Louise Seal-Hines; and brothers, James Michael “Mickey” Hines, Arthur Douglas Hines and William Dewey Hines.
A funeral service is scheduled for November 26, 2022 at 11AM at Kennedy Cemetery, 571 Buck Branch School Rd Poplarville, MS, with Craig Hines officiating. A reception will follow at Henleyfield Community Center, 5371 Mississippi 43 N Carriere, MS 39426.
