She was an amazing teacher I remember all the good times we had together. She was like a mom to me I wish she didn't go but it happens now she's in heaven... I'll look up at the sky now saying "I miss you mom's I love you Mom

When I attended Patti Welder I had Katie as my English teacher.. She showed all of her students so much love and taught all of us very valuable lesson. She will always be one of my top five favorite teachers, because she never failed to tell me (along with all her other students) to always follow our dreams. She is part of the reason why I will be graduating early. I miss her dearly and send my condolences.

I'm so saddened to hear this news. I have so many fond memories of Katie when we went to OLPH together. We would plan out how we would win our next basketball game by her aggressively rebounding and throwing the ball down the court to me. We would challenge each other academically, and just had fun growing up together. Above all, I remember her most as a sweet, caring friend. She will be missed. The Pagel family is in my prayers!
