Katie Sue Franklin

Katie Sue Franklin, 60, of Victoria passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014. She was born August 11, 1954 in Victoria to the late William and Mary Deloris Henderson. She was formerly employed by VISD and Texas Drive Inn.

Survivors include her son, Stanley Walter (Jessica) Franklin, Jr. of Victoria; sisters, Pattie Steen of Houston, Deloris Henderson of New York and Rosemary Henderson of Victoria; brothers, William (Gail) Henderson of Brenham, Paul (Lisa) Henderson of Columbus, Georgia and Patrick Henderson of Livingston; granddaughter, Alana Franklin.

In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tyretha Rochelle Henderson, and beloved companion, Larry Webb.

The family will receive friends at Rosewood Funeral Chapel from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, November 7, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Rev. F. H. Hobbs officiating. The eulogy will be delivered by Pastor Rodney Lee. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
