Kay had a huge heart and a passion for animals, especially those neglected or abandoned, providing them medical care and a home. She will be missed by her rescues, Molly, Marco and Callie. She enjoyed nature and gardening and especially loved the ocean and sailing the Intracoastal Waterway with her beloved husband in their sailboat. Over the years, Kay was an avid volunteer who gave her time to Lutheran Ladies Aid, Junior League and many other volunteer organizations. A member of the Lutheran Church, Kay was also a lifelong and devoted student of the Bible which gave her much comfort and peace.
