

Rev. Kenneth V. Crawford, 85, passed away October 16, 2012. He left his bed at home and is now free from pain, rejoicing with his Lord in heaven. Kenneth was born May 15, 1927 in Rogers County, Oklahoma to the late Henry C. and Cora McCubbin Crawford. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Audrey; daughters, Rebecca Norris of Concord, California, Karen Lockwood of Katy, and Kathryn Michelle Crawford-Gonzales of Newberg, Oregon; two sons, Curtis Randall Crawford of Victoria and Kevin Crawford of Grand Prairie; a brother, Ernest Crawford of Tulsa; Ken was also blessed by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and honorary family of Ope and Falukay Jedege.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 4 brothers and one grandchild.
Ken was a well known home builder and owner of Regal Marble. He was an ordained minister, pastored several churches and helped build churches in Mexico. Ken was also a published author.
Kenneth’s most outstanding quality was his love for people and for his family. He always asked people he didn’t know what he considered to be the most important question, “DO YOU KNOW JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR?”
The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Friday, October 19, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, Rev. Nick Stewart and Rev. David Parrie officiating. Burial with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery
