She is survived by her husband, Amador Torres Jr. , and her son, “Trey” Amador Torres III; mother and step-father, Elrose Martin McQueen and John McQueen; father, Ronald G. Morgenroth and companion Suzette Hesseltine; aunt, Becky Townsend; cousins, Jessica, Samantha and Kristi Townsend; mother-in-law, Maggie Torres-Peralez and husband Cruz; grandparents-in-law, Sofia and Vernal Jervis; sister-in-laws, Yvonne Garcia and husband James, and Yolanda Helmer and husband Justin; niece and nephews, Angelina and Dustin Helmer, and Dominic and Dylan Garcia; and numerous extended family members including her aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elroy and Pearl Martin, Toshiko Morgenroth; and father-in-law, Amador Torres, Sr.

She worked for the University of Houston - Victoria as a Transfer Analyst since 2006. She was a member of the Victoria High School Class of 1999, graduating a year early with college credits. She was a Catholic and attended church at Holy Family and Our Lady of Sorrows. Kristin actively volunteered for the Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed
