Laurie Jackson Mahoney

Laurie Jackson Mahoney, 86, of Victoria passed away November 1, 2011. She was born November 9, 1924 in Houston, TX to the late Everett and Annie Laurie Jackson. She was a housewife, a mother, and a friend. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Laurie was also a graduate from Rice University with a BA degree.

She is survived by son, Randy Mahoney, and daughter-in law, Jan Mahoney of Victoria; one grandson, Jacob; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Mahoney and a son, Mark Walter Mahoney.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am Friday, November 4, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church, in Victoria, with Rev. Jarrell Sharp and Rev. Marilyn Roeder officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Mission Fund, the Alzheimer’s Association, or Hospice of South Texas, 605 E. Locust, Victoria, Texas, 77901.
