

Leonard Holy, 85, of Victoria passed away November 20, 2010. He was born July 14, 1925, in Guadalupe to the late Louis and Fannie Janota Holy. Leonard was a loving husband and father who will be missed greatly. He loved to work hard and never spent an idle moment.
He married Ann Karm on June 21, 1952, in Port Lavaca. Leonard served in the United States Army during World War II, and he retired from Alcoa after 38 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann Holy; his daughter, Debbie Lempa and husband, Michael of Cuero; his son, David Holy and his significant other, Melody Wolfshohl of New Braunfels; his son, Terry Holy and wife, Royanne of Pearland; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Aiken of Victoria, and Leona Drozd of Austin.
In addition to his parents Leonard was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Kay Carter and brother, Edwin Holy.
The family will receive friends on Monday November 22, 2010, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be Tuesday November 23, 2010, at 10 AM from Rosewood Funeral Chapels with the Rev. J.V. Helms officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
Pallbearers will be Bryan and Chad Penley, Michael Lempa, Dr. William Shuttlesworth, Cecil Shafer and Ronnie Shafer.
