Leonardo Luna, age 85, of Bloomington, Texas passed away on Sunday January 13, 2019. Leonardo was born November 16, 1933 to Paula Escalante and Felix Luna.
Leonardo is survived by; son Richard Hinojosa; sister Mary Raby, sister Soila Reyes, brother Robert Luna, brother Raymond Luna, brother Johnny Luna and brother Ernest Luna.
Leonardo was preceded in death by; son John Edward Luna and son Leonard Luna; father Felix Luna and mother Paula Escalante; sister Lillie Galindo; brother Santiago Luna and brother Delfino Luna.
A visitation for Leonardo will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 1801 East Red River Street, Victoria, Texas. A rosary will follow Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 13316 State HWY 185, Bloomington, Texas. Burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Bloomington.
Serving as pallbearers are Lupe Deleon, Manuel Luna, Richard Hinojosa, Antonio Luna, David Luna and Armando Melchor.
Contributions in Leonardo's memory may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Bloomington, Texas.

Familia Luna, may you all be blessed and find strength and peace at this time of losing your brother. My name is Rosa, I am John and Leonard and Richards, tia, I remember Nayo from many yrs ago while growing up in Bloomington Tx. I have fond memories of him he nicknamed me La Negra, I was the youngest of the Hinojosa Familia . I spoke to him many yrs ago he talked to his son John and was looking forward to having john go visit him. But my nephew never got the chance he passed away about a yr after he talked to his dad.
