A much-loved wife and mother, Lois Joann Lincke, 59, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 30, 2018 with her family present. She bravely confronted and fought cancer. She was born January 7, 1959 in Beeville to the late Edmond Ray and Pansy Gisler Doreck. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 37 years where she delivered mail to many wonderful families whom all meant the world to her. She graduated from Nordheim High School in 1977, where she was chosen to be Salutatorian and Miss NHS.
Joann had a beautiful contagious spirit. She believed in kindness and humor which was shown to everyone she encountered. She believed in family whom she loved with all her being. She believed life was an adventure and celebrated by traveling with her “boyfriend”, family and friends. Joann adored her mighty Dallas Cowboys and always believed every year they would score their way to victory.
Her first love was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She wore her faith on her sleeve and would always pray for every need anyone ever had. Joann was known as a prayer warrior and a good and faithful servant.
Survivors include the love of her life, husband of 41 years, James Lincke of Victoria; daughter, Jamie Joann Lincke and fiancé, Will Joost of Victoria; sisters, Donna Rae Hunt of Victoria, Jodi Ray Lerma and Heidi Alice Doreck both of Austwell; brother, Leslie Ray Doreck of Lavernia.
