

VICTORIA – Lorraine Ellen Joslyn, 81, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. She was born August 20, 1934 in Cavalier, North Dakota to the late Merrill and Blanche Hebert. Lorraine married William Joslyn on June 28,1954.
Lorraine grew up on a farm in North Dakota the seventh of eight children. After college, she taught in a one-room schoolhouse for a year before marrying William. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker most of her life and spent many of her retirement years volunteering for Christ’s Kitchen and Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William Joslyn; two daughters: Cindy Reyna and Heather (Charles) Bonorden; seven grandchildren: Raymond (Kathy) Reyna, Michelle Reyna, Samuel, Alexander, Joshua, Noah, and Isaac Bonorden; and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Cindy) Hebert, and her sister, Marlene (Richard) Branaman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Paul, Charles, and Ray Hebert, and her sister, Florence Denault.
Visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapel at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2016 with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM.
A funeral Mass will be at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Raymond Reyna, Samuel Bonorden, Alexander Bonorden, Neal Joslyn, Mike Troell, and Darrell Klimitchek.
