

Louis H. McArthur, 87, of Victoria passed away April 19, 2012. He was born October 15, 1924, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late John H. and Eunice E. Johnson McArthur. Louis was retired from Dupont after many years as a payroll clerk. He served his country in the United States Army in World War II, and was a member of First English Lutheran Church.
Louis is survived by his daughters, Beverly J. McIntosh of Victoria, Barbara S. Janak and husband, John, of Victoria, and Patricia R. Simank of Victoria; son, Steven H. McArthur and wife, Carol, of Austin; sister, Helen Schmitgall of Manito, Illinois; brother, Ray H. McArthur of Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Kelling McArthur; his son, David W. McArthur; and brothers, John H. McArthur, Jr. and Edward S. McArthur.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 22, 2012, from 6 to 8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2012, at 10 am from the Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Jim Pearson officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua S. McArthur, John C. Janak, Troy B. McIntosh, Jeremy K. McIntosh, Troy David McIntosh, and Joe M. Graham.
