Louise S. Sparkman

Louise S. Sparkman, 92, of Victoria passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. She was born April 15, 1922 in Goliad County to the late Philip Chamrad and Julia Korczynski Chamrad. Louise was a homemaker and a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sparkman, of Victoria; son, Robert T. Sparkman, Jr., of Victoria; sister, Leona Chamrad, of Victoria; three grandchildren, Trey Sparkman, Andrew Sparkman and Emily Sparkman, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Sparkman, Sr., son, Philip Louis Sparkman; grandchild, Joseph Sparkman; sisters, Pauline Henley, Annie Krauskopf, Georgia Weaver and brothers, Richard Chamrad, Edward Chamrad, Daniel Chamrad, Woodrow Chamrad, James Chamrad and Marvin Chamrad.

A visitation will held from 6 to 8 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Colonial Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Dominic Boasiako officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trey Sparkman, Andy Sparkman, Brendon Sparkman, Devon Sharp, Kyle Brady and Erasmo Garcia.
