

Lucile Mary Rybak, 101, of Victoria passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was born September 14, 1915 in Sublime to the late Emil and Effie Brown Schindler. At age 20 she went to Houston to Modern Beauty College. After returning to Hallettsville she married Victor Rybak in 1937. They had a farm in Moravia until 1953 when the family moved to Victoria. She worked at the Victoria Sweet Shop for 15 years and for VISD for 11 years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. Lucile will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, great-grandmother and friend.
Survivors include her daughter, Beatrice Rybak Neisser of Victoria; sons, Eugene Rybak (Linda) of Alvin and Gary Rybak (Susan) of Victoria; grandchildren, Gina Rybak Piske (Greg), David Rybak, Grant Josef Rybak (Jessica Kadora), Garrett James Rybak (Erin Smith), Victor Neisser Jr. (Lisa);great-granchildren, Victor Russell Neisser, Henry John Neisser, Anna Lynn Neisser, Kade Josef Rybak, Levi Bray Rybak, Quinn Abigail Rybak, Lucile James Rybak, Taylor Piske, Matthew Piske, Sarah Piske Leavitt (Adam); sister, Josie Zappe of Hallettsville; step-son, Victor Rybak of New Braunfels. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Rybak; daughter-in-law Gail Bianchi Rybak; son-in-law, Victor Neisser Sr.; three brothers, Alvin Schindler, Carl Schindler and an infant; sister, Elsie Patterson;an infant grandson and a great grandson, Raymond Martin Neisser.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Friday, March 3, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, followed by a Rosary at 7 pm. The Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 am Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Grant Rybak, Garrett Rybak, Victor Neisser Jr., David Rybak, Taylor Piske and Matthew Piske.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or Hospice of South Texas.
