Lucille dedicated many years of her life to her career as a Registered Nurse at Citizens Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her care and commitment before retiring.
She was the cherished wife of Marvin Ray Huse and a loving mother to her children, DeAnna Huse, Lori Ballard, and Edward Huse and wife Janet, all residing in Victoria. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and a great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren. Lucille is survived by her brother, John Tinoco. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Tinoco, and her grandson Joshua Rojas.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, the 22nd of January, beginning at 1 pm at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory, with the recitation of the rosary at 1:30 and the Mass of Christian burial to begin at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed in Lucille’s name to Nazareth Academy, Hospice of South Texas, or St. Joseph’s High School. (I will add the addresses for each)
