I was so saddened to hear of Madge's passing. I was an Art teacher at Howell Intermediate School when Charles was the principal. I adored him as well as Madge. She was always so sweet and supporting of Charles. It is not easy to lose our mother or anyone else. My mother passed away recently and I know how hard it is for your family. I hope that the wonderful memories you all have of Madge will help to bring you comfort. I find comfort when I remember all the things my mother used to do. I also found comfort in the scriptures at 1 John 5:28 where I know she will be resurrected and Revelation 21:3, 4. I also get comfort from 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Your mother and father were there when I began my teaching career in 1981 at Howell. I taught 35 years and a lot of what I learned started with the both of them.

We were so sad to hear of Mrs. Gilpin’s passing. She & Mr. Gilpin were such sweet neighbors in Bell Tower. Each year he would bring lemons from their tree & always blessed us with Pancake Tickets from the Lions Club. Heaven has gained another angel. May God give her family His strength & comfort at this difficult time.

Remembering Madge fondly from our days in real estate in the 1980s, when I worked for Al Hogan. May she rest in peace! I'm sorry she didn't quite make her birthday. She is the same age as my father. Hope she had a heavenly celebration! Truly sorry you lost her during the holidays!

Madge Gilpin was my mentor beginning my Real Estate career in 1990. I had a degree in education and ventured out in to The Real Estate market in Victoria. Madge I knew from my husband being friends with her son.
Madge Was so respected in this community and I knew if she was with Cornerstone Properties it was the place I wanted to work. She was such a joy to me, helping me in every way she could. When she retired I missed her but kept in touch. Madge Gilpin you were such a class act and you and Mr.Gilpin were pillars of our community. Love you and respect you always. Judy vz

When visiting Victoria, I love attending 1st Methodist Church services. I really look forward to seeing those Methodists I've known so many years. That would include enjoying the familiar smiles & greetings from your mom & dad. I know you, your dad & your entire family have many wonderful memories of your mom to treasure!
Wishing you, your dad & your entire family all the best,

Blessings to the Gilpin family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Gilpin during the time that I attended Victoria High School. Mr. and Mrs. Gilpin were very active in supporting almost all of the school activities. Later on, Mrs. Gilpin became a Realtor and I had the pleasure of seeing and talking to her from time to time when she represented the real estate company. Dennard and Becky were living in Victoria at that time and we enjoyed a business relationship as long as I could keep Dennard from talking so loud! Mrs. Gilpin was a wonderful person who partnered in raising a wonderful family and who will be remembered with respect and love by all who knew her.

What a precious lady Madge was. I worked with her at "The Real Estate Corner" and "Cornerstone Properties". She was like a second Mother to me. Such love and kindness overflowed out of her. Praying for your family as you celebrate this precious one today. Asking God to surround you with His presence and let it be such a sweet time.

We were deeply saddened to hear that Mrs. Gilpin had passed away. She was such a vibrant Christian woman who always had a smile on her face. She was a gracious host any time I was at the
Gilpin house many years ago. We know that she will be missed by many people. May God bless the
entire Gilpin family during your time of loss.
