Johnnie Margaret Williams, lovingly known to most as Margaret, 83, of Victoria, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026. Margaret was born on September 13, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She later made her home in Victoria, Texas, where she built a life centered on family, friendship, and kindness. She married the love of her life on June 7, 1962, in La Feria, Texas.
She is survived by her devoted husband, A.D. “Jack” Williams, 64 years; her loving daughter, Diane Wagner; her son-in-law, Mitch Wagner; and her cherished grandson, Ryan Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minerva Butcher, and her sister, Grace Beck.
Margaret dedicated many years of service to O’Connor/Braman, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and commitment. Outside of work, she embraced life with enthusiasm. She enjoyed playing Bridge, traveling, camping, being a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and cheering on the San Antonio Spurs.
Whether spending time with loved ones or enjoying the simple pleasures of life, Margaret had a way of making every moment meaningful.
Those who knew Margaret will remember her as loyal, compassionate, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a generous heart, a gentle spirit, and an unwavering love for her family. Her kindness touched countless lives, and her strength and grace will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 9:00am. Followed by a funeral service at 10:00am, both at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. The burial will immediately follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
