

Martha Louise Hairell, 95, of Victoria joined her Heavenly Father March 10, 2014. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a long time resident of Twin Pines Nursing Home. She was born in Arcola, Texas on March 5, 1919, to the late Rudolph Peters and Josefa Dymacek Peters.
Her faith in Jesus Christ, devotion to family and genealogy were her passions, and she managed all despite her wheelchair confinement for the past 14 years. She never forgot a family birthday or anniversary and she always managed to find some small remembrance for each person. She enjoyed dominos and bingo with friends at Twin Pines.
She is survived by her children, Luther F. Hairell Jr. (Linda) and Elizabeth Ann Hairell; her sister, Rose Kelty; brother, August Peters; and numerous nephews and nieces. She is grandmother to John Hairell (Jennifer), Michelle Tesch (Boyce), Raquel Hairell, Lori Hairell, Jason Hairell Sr. (Delicia). She is great-grandmother to Will Shaffer, Camyn Hairell, Danica Molino, Kayden Hairell, Shelby Tesch, Mackenzie Tesch, Alexandria Hairell, Evelyn Hairell, Addison Tesch, Jason Hairell Jr., Zane Tesch, Colten Hairell, Frederick Hairell, and Jace Hairell and great-great grandmother to Azalea, Ariana, and ApacheAnn Molino.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther F. Hairell Sr.; parents, Rudolph Peters and Josefa Dymacek Peters; and sisters, Willamina Peters, Beatrice McGilvra and Josephine Green.
Pallbearers will be Luther F. Hairell Jr., John Hairell, Jason Hairell Sr., Boyce Tesch, August Peters and Wayne Hairell.
Visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, March 12, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, 3304 E. Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, Texas, (361)573-4546.
Services will be held at 10:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints, 3408 N. Ben Wilson, Victoria, Texas, March 13, 2014, followed by Interment at County Line Cemetery, Hwy 682, Dewitt County, Texas.
