Mary Helen Garrison Hall

Mom was born July 12, 1925 in Dallas, TX to the late Leldon Penn & Ruth Tillmon Lasky. She was the wife of J.O. Garrison, Jr. “Bob” for 32 years, then Luther Hall for 24 years.

Mom loved the Lord and taught her children to as well. She was creative, enjoyed cooking, Mexican food, flower gardening and playing Chinese checkers with her grandchildren. Later, as a resident in Cuero Nursing Center, Mom was loved and respected; her sweet smile will be missed. She was a blessing to anyone with whom she came in contact.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hall; sister, Lena Bess Boyette and a granddaughter, Melody Garrison Gentry.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Garrison of Dallas, TX, Missy Levy of Great Barrington, MA, Beverly Garrison of Dallas, TX; son, Gary R. Garrison and his wife, Sharon of Victoria; grandchildren, Caleb Garrison and wife, Erin of Victoria, Laura Garrison of Victoria; great grandchildren, Garrison and Jeremiah Gentry of Tulsa, OK, Gavin, Kaitlyn and Caden Garrison of Victoria.

We may be saying good-bye on this earth, Mom, but we all will see you one day, for our faith is in Jesus Christ, the One in Whose arms you now rest.

Graveside services will be held at the Nursery Cemetery on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.
