Mary Strickland Howard, 84, of Victoria passed away February 20, 2013, after a short illness. She was born October 11, 1928, in Clovis, New Mexico, to the late James Umphra and Lucy Jane Alexander Strickland. Mary was a retired physical therapist and a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Touchstone of Victoria; son, Michael Andrew Howard of Austin; sister, Martha Ewing of Dallas; brother, Clark Strickland of Clovis, New Mexico; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Wicks Howard; a daughter, Rebecca Howard Fielder; a son, Frank David Howard; son-in-law, Kerry Touchstone; and brother, James Strickland.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Fellowship Bible Church, Rev. Mike Malone officiating.
