My Husband Vern and I give our deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Mary Grace
was such a delightful, humorous lady. Have not been around her in recent years but years passed, when our children was young, she was a delight to be associated with . She will be truly missed
by you, her family, but times heal and memories will be cherished. May God Bless Each And Every One.

It was January 1955 and my family had just moved to Victoria. Patti Welder looked like a foreign land, but it was the smile and welcome from Mary Grace that made the transition easy. Being a sophomore and knowing no one and nothing about being a Stingaree, Mary Grace welcomed me to her world. We had Home Ec together and several other classes as well over the years. The 1957 yearbook indicates we were in FHA and Anchor Club together. However, it was Victoria College Saberettes and Schroeder Hall that created some grand memories and deep friendships for both of us.

The 25th Patti Welder reunion created an opportunity to check on friends and it was Mary Grace that met my flight and shared walking down memory lane. Oh how we giggled. She was able to fill in where people were, who married whom, and who still lived in Victoria. She was like a walking history of our friends. October 2016, Mary Grace along with Pat (Vogt) Holton and Ms. Ruth Williams joined me as we looked through memorabilia of being a Victoria College Saberette.

During that visit and her life's challenges, Mary Grace's smile and laughing attitude reflected what is under her photo in the Patti Welder 1957 yearbook -- Smile your way through worries -- laugh your way through life.

Mary Grace will be missed, but her contributions to many will long be remembered.

I never personally met Mary Grace but I received a most wonderful letter from her after my daughter Jeannie married Tim. Mary Grace thanked me profusely for sharing Jeannie with the Krejci family ! She went on to praise the virtues she saw in Jeannie. I will always treasure that amazing gift from a stranger. Betty McGinnis

A TRUE FRIEND AND MY " PARTNER IN CRIME". SO MANY MEMORIES FROM THE YEARS THAT MY SON, DENNIS, AND HER SON, TIMMY, PLAYED BASEBALL WHEN THEY WERE GROWING UP. ALL THE YEARS SITTING ON THOSE HARD BLEACHERS AND TRYING TO COME UP WITH NEW AFTER THE GAME ACTIVITIES WHEN THEY WON. WE GREW UP KNOWING EACH OTHER AS OUR FAMILIES ALL LIVED IN THE SAME AREA ON THE LOWER MISSION VALLEY ROAD. TRUE FRIENDSHIP FOR YEARS. SHE AND HER SMILE AND WIT WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

I have so many sweet memories of Mary Grace as we were all growing up on the farm. She was always sweet, loving, and always smiling. Her name describes her best, loving and gracious lady.
