Mary Evelyn Zdansky Zarosky, 89, of Victoria, passed away on October 14, 2026. Mary was born on November 21, 1936, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Kaspar and Olga Veselka Zdansky. She married Bernard Zarosky Sr. on February 15, 1955, and they moved to Victoria, Texas, to farm. Mary was a paraprofessional with Victoria Independent School District for 37 years.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Zarosky Sr., her parents, and her siblings, Betty Konarik, Jane Pavlicek, Helen Mikulec, L.A. Zdansky, George Zdansky, and Julius Zdansky.
Mary is survived by her children, Bernard Roe Zarosky Jr. (Patti), Marilyn Kay Roe (B.J.), David Brian Zarosky (Angie) and Joyce Marie Heller (Randy). She had eleven grandchildren, Lauren Holloway (Charlie), Benjamin Roe (Ally), Jennifer Reeves (Cody), Derek Zarosky (Erin), Zachary Zarosky (Amber), Nichole Boots (Daniel), John Zarosky (Kristen), Michael Zarosky (Rachel), Timothy Zarosky (Kathyrn), Geoffrey Zarosky (Mary), and Gena Childress (Chance). She had 27 great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy: William, Walker, Grayson, Zaxon, Haizlynn, Dawson, Ella, Jovie, Joliene, Conley, Travis, Emerson, Bristol, Lily, Cody, Abigail, Preston, Emily, Kyler, Jack Robert, Luke, Zeniah, Zane, Michael, Scarlett, Peyton and Paige.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 12:00 pm, followed by the rosary at 1:00 pm and Mass at 2:00 p.m., all at Holy Family Catholic Church, 704 Mallette Drive, Victoria, Texas 77904. The service will be followed by burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Michael Zarosky, Geoffrey Zarosky, Derek Zarosky, Zachary Zarosky, Travis Law, Cody Reeves, Benjamin Roe, and Charlie Holloway. Honorary Pallbearers are Timothy Zarosky, John Zarosky, Daniel Boots and Chance Childress.
Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
