Anastasia Monroy-Navarro

Dad. My best friend. My chum. The best memory I have of us together is when I was younger and it was around Christmas time. We were at Dillards and I saw this Rapunzel wallet and I had to have it. You said no & I was upset, but as we were walking out you said “let’s go.” We went back inside and you bought me the wallet. Not only did you buy me the wallet, but you put $20 in it. You said “mama, this is your wallet and your money. Take care of it. Daddy works hard for this money.” You are such a great dad and such a great example of what a hardworking and Christian man looks like. I miss you so much chum. Till we meet again ♥️

We knew Mike as the man who mowed our lawn. But, the longer he mowed our lawn the more we got to know him on a personal basis. Mike lived his life on his terms. He told me once how "Blessed" he was to have such a special wife in his life and so very happy to be given a second chance. He was very proud of his step-son that helped him mow and said "He's a good boy and I'm sure that he will make something of his life" I do hope he goes into the Military " I in turn told Mike "We can't change the past but, we most definitely can make a difference in our future" he agreed and smiled. By looking at the photographs, I can see how much laughter, good times and smiles he shared with Family and Friends. I'm sure that he will be sadly missed for a very long time. May he rest in peace and find his smile back in his Mother's arms.
