

Mildred Langford “Mimi” Cohen, 95, of Victoria passed away peacefully at Detar Hospital on Thursday November 30, 2012. It was there she, a registered nurse, had been introduced to her future husband, Leroy, a registered pharmacist, and where her only child and grandchild were born.
She was a member of Past Presidents Club, Currer Bell Study Club, a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church, and an honored volunteer of Meals on Wheels.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, LeRoy Cohen, sister Lucille Holdsworth, and brother, Dr. A. G. Langford.
She is survived by her son, Allie Joe Cohen, his wife Susan, and her Granddaughter Lisa Cohen of Houston.
Special thanks to her housekeeper and caregiver of 37 years, Betty Scott, Joyce Durham and family, and her special friend and companion Ruth Ann Barnard.
The family will receive friends at Rosewood Funeral Chapel on Monday December 3, 2012 from 6-7PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church with Kathryn Morton officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry Brown, Dr. Larry Riedel, Erol Tucker, Tom Marchbanks, Chris Thompson, Doug Potts, Bob Bianchi, Burt Holdsworth, and Geoff White.
