She was born on August 18, 1940 in Denison, TX to Zachery R. and Della Faye Rannals.
After graduating from Bartlett High School, Movita moved to Austin, TX to study at Nixon Clay Business College.
While living in Austin, she met the love of her life, Gary. After an initial dinner at The Hills Café they spent time together for 19 days straight. They enjoyed dancing at Elks Lodge, Skyline Club, and Doug's Cub, attending events at Paramount and State Theaters, and taking frequent road trips to Llano. Their song is My Shoes Keep Walking Back to You by favorite music artist Ray Price.
She was happiest traveling and RVing as copilot in many life adventures with Gary.
Along the way, Movita always had a bag of yarn and crocheted countless afghans with love for friends and family.
Her grandchildren were the lights of her life.
She was a breast cancer survivor.
She loved Elvis.
Movita is preceded in death by her parents, brother Dale, niece Caci Rannals and three grandchildren, Zachary, Kaylynn, and Reagan West.
Movita is survived by her loving husband, Gary of Victoria, TX; daughters Kimberley West (Marty Cocita) of Spring, TX, Larissa Stone of Spring, TX, Laurie Harlan of Spring, TX; grandchildren Lauren Faye Stone of Spring, TX and Clayton James West of College Station, TX; brother Delbert Rannals of Conway, AR and sister Sandra LeFevre of Hewitt, TX as well as several nieces and nephews.
