Nicholas T. Kouches

Nicholas “Nick” Thomas Kouches, 66 of Victoria passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born July 31, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Tom and Lola Mitchell Kouches. Nick was the owner of Liberty Swabbing Inc.

Nick, the patriarch of the Kouches clan is survived by his daughter; Kim M. Kouches and her children, Kyle and Rylee; son, Lance C. Kouches, his wife, Jenny and their children, Victoria, Colton, Nicholas and Kade; daughter, Shannon Darst and her husband, John and their children, Zachary, Madison, Emma and Taylor; son, Jeremy Kouches and his son, Ethemius; brother, Tony L. Kouches and wife, Debra;and sister, Phala Kouches Bearden.

Mr. Kouches is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Lisa, Thomas Jason “T.J.”, Brandi, Heather, Cole, Edward and Katherine and his great nieces and nephews; Dylan, Lola, Lilly, Layla, Zoe, Izzabela, Dominque, Ethan, Jasper, Wyatt and Kenley.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Parkway Church with Pastor Mike Hurt officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Lance Kouches, Jeremy Kouches, T.J. Kouches, Kevin Dixon, David Darst, Zachary George, Tony Hunt and Leith Tipton. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Kouches, Kyle Tipton, Kade Kouches, Ethemius Kouches, Colton Escamilla, Dylan Kouches and all hands of Liberty Swabbing.
