Noralee Elizabeth Valka Janak

Noralee Elizabeth Valka Janak, 70, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was born August 6, 1946 in Yoakum to the late Millard and Olga Fojtik Valka. Noralee was happily married for 51 years. She served as a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, shopping, and listening to polka music. She retired from Mitchell Glass Company after 34 years of service where she worked as an office manager.

Survivors include her husband, David Janak; daughter, Kristine Henneke (Kerry); sons, Kevin Janak (Alisa), Kyle Janak (Sarah) and Keith Janak (Sherry) all of Victoria; sisters: Marlene Berkovsky of Hallettsville and Orlanda Valka of Austin; brother, Cecil Valka of Yoakum; seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels followed by a Rosary at 7 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am Friday, December 23, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carson Janak, Koban Janak, Blake Henneke, Kamdyn Janak, Danial Shindler, Ryan Shindler and Dana Kaderka.
