Norma and several others of us at Region 3 would have lunch together almost every day.  We had so much fun in that lunch room.  We called ourselves the lunch bunch and lunch buddies.  
We would talk about everything, from funny stuff to serious stuff, sometimes we would laugh so loud people would come down the halls and see what we were up to or if there happened to be a meeting in the board room, which was right beside the break room they would tell us we were too loud. 
Norma always talked about how wonderful her family was, she was so proud of them.  She talked about each child and grandchild, what they had been doing, how they were doing, achievements. She told of all the Hair dressers in the family and talked about her mom and how well she got around. 
There was a couple of times I said something that made her angry, that is one thing one would not want to do, she let me know very quickly that she was not happy with me.  Thank God it was only a couple of times that I made that mistake, I think of it as the wrath of Norma.   Her laughter was awesome.  I can still hear it echo in my mind at times when I think of some of the things that we would share about and how sometimes we would be going through something similar at the same time.  
I know Norma is watching over her family and is present very often, I know she is at peace now and in the embrace of her husband Duncan whom she loved so dearly.  
May God bless her family and wipe all of your tears, when you think of her, she is with you, when you speak to her she hears you.

Norma was a such a cheerful person to work with and will be dearly missed.   I always enjoyed hearing her family stories and her laugh.

Norma was such a neat person. We had a few beverages and laughs during my Region III days. I will truly miss her. Her family is in my prayers.

Norma, had a beautiful laugh and was always smiling. I know that she dearly loved Duncan and her children. I will miss her and I will pray for her family.

Norma always assisted me cheerfully with jobs large and small at Region III, they will miss her expertise there.   I am thankful for having had the opportunity to know her and I pray that your memories of her bring some consolation during this sad time.  Mary Anne McLemore

Norma had been my coworker and dear friend for 16 years. We laughed and cried together. For years she entertained me with stories of hunting, camping, and river rafting when she and her closest family and friends were enjoying the weekends. Melissa, Chris, and Eric: she loved you three dearly. She loved her grandchildren dearly. And she loved her mother, sisters, and brothers dearly. I know because she told me so over the years. So now she has embarked on the next step in her Journey, rejoining Duncan, where both of them have taken the ultimate healing. We who survive her will grieve for a time (some longer than others), but we must always keep in mind that she wants us to be happy. You, her family, she wants very much to be happy and successful in life. I know that because over the years, she's told me that, too. You have been, and will remain, in my thoughts and prayers. The Lord bless you and give you comfort.

Norma I so enjoyed working with you! What laughs we had in make it take it and with Rachael! You fought hard and now are at peace and with Duncan!

I enjoyed working with Norma at Region 3 for about 13 years. She was always pleasant and helpful.  We miss her expertise and friendship. Please know that you, her family, are in our prayers as you grieve her loss.
