Okey W. Leaisure, Jr.

Okey W. Leaisure, Jr., age 78, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He was born November 14, 1934 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Okey W. Leaisure Sr. and Bernice A. Newman Leaisure. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 166. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for St. Joe Minerals.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Cobey of La Salle; sons, Okey W. Leaisure III of Mississippi, and Randy Leaisure of La Salle; sister, Judy Zorrer of Delaware; brother, Norman J. Milton Leaisure of South Carolina; six grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delores Leaisure; son, Michael Shane Leaisure; sister, Thelma Bennett; brothers, Orville E. Leaisure and Robert R. Leaisure; and two great grandchildren.

Family graveside services will be held 9:00 am Friday, September 13, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be his Family.
