Olga Rohan Balfanz

Olga Rohan Balfanz, 91, of Victoria passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. She was born November 18, 1920, in Yorktown to the late Edmund L. and Sophie Filla Rohan. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Stubblefield of Richmond and Marjorie Billings of Magnolia; sons, Kenneth Balfanz of Robinson, Gene Balfanz of Port Lavaca, David Balfanz and Danny Balfanz, both of Victoria; sister, Mary Ann Zandonatti of Victoria; brother, Leonard Rohan of Victoria; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Balfanz on November 5, 1979; a son, Charles Balfanz; brothers, Norman Rohan and Alton Rohan.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 19, 2012, from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be at 10 am Friday, April 20, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Billings and grandsons, Christopher Balfanz, Dustin Balfanz, Jacob Billings, Phillip Balfanz and Karl Balfanz.
