Olivia Horelka

Olivia Laverne Horelka, 79, passed away on July 15, 2019. Olivia was born February 25, 1940 in Goliad County, TX to the late Edgar and Freida Lemke Berger. Olivia enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds. She enjoyed her family and will be missed by many.

Olivia is survived by her daughters, Sherri Tims of Yoakum, Sandra Garza (Henry) of Vanderbilt; son, Sammy Horelka of Inez; sisters, Ellanora Wells of Michigan, Donna Berger of Schroeder, Renetta Mitchell of Atlanta, TX, Myra Powell of Fordtran; brother, William Berger of Monterrey, Mexico and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emil Horelka Jr., sister, Delores Waitschies and brothers, Linwood and Edgar Berger Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2019 from 1-2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM with Jack Hudson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Inez.

Pallbearers are David Westphal, Gary Butler, CJ Garza, Ross Rosalez, Lizandro Molina and Billy Ray Horelka.
