Otto F. Mozisek Jr. passed on March 8, 2026, at the age of 78. Born August 9, 1947, in Koerth, Texas, he lived in Victoria, Texas.
Otto and Linda (wife) would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July this year!
Otto worked in the air conditioning business throughout the 70's and early 80's, first managing Thermal Supply, and later owning and managing Insco Distributing. He and Linda opened Athletic Attic in Victoria Mall in 1985 and enjoyed being business owners throughout the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's before retiring and enjoying family and traveling.
Otto was an avid golfer, loved hunting and fishing, and watching sports. He and Linda were long-time members of Our Lady of Victory Church, where Otto served as an usher for many years. Otto was a loving husband, devoted Father, and proud grandfather.
He is survived by wife Linda (Hill) Mozisek of Victoria, Sons: Otto F. Mozisek III (Skip) (wife Susie Mozisek) , Mark D. Mozisek (wife Angela Mozisek) Brother: Tommy Mozisek (wife Alannah), Sisters: Jan Clinkscales, Cathy Brzozowski (husband Andy), Peggy Frederick (husband Ricky)
Grandchildren: Ashley Mozisek of Lone Tree, CO., Seth Mozisek of Victoria, Annie Mozisek Cox of Victoria, Taylor Mozisek of Chicago, IL., and Samantha Mozisek of Victoria.
Otto's legacy of hard work, devotion, and family will be greatly missed and cherished.
Preceded in death by: Otto F. James Mozisek Sr., Dorothy Annie Minarcik Mozisek, and brother Dennis Mozisek.
Visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, TX 77904, on Monday, the 16th of March 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Tuesday, the 17th of March 2026, the recitation of the Holy Rosary will commence at 9:30 am at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 am. A private family burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of South Texas, 1005 Mallette Drive, Victoria, TX 77904, or to the American Diabetes Association.
